Murat \u00dcran\u00fcz is the holder of an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and graduated in business studies. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). From 2014 to 2018 he served as the deputy compliance monitor to Dr. Mark Livschitz for a German company with reporting duty to the FCPA Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington DC, USA, as part of a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA). Murat \u00dcran\u00fcz was responsible for all procedural and accounting audits carried out for the duration of the compliance monitorship.<\/p>\n

Mark Livschitz has served as an expert in anti-corruption projects of the OECD, OSCE, UNODC and the Council of Europe. He has led several extensive and complex cross-border multi-state anti-corruption investigations, been a defense lawyer in several high-profile cases, and has two decades of experience as a civil litigation lawyer (primarily in the area of internal investigations). Dr. Livschitz has also advised a FINMA investigator in a cross-border investigation into a Swiss multinational bank.<\/p>\n

Mark Livschitz is a lecturer at the University of Fribourg, teaching a module as part of the Masters Program \u201cCross Cultural Business Practices\u201d. He lectures on anti-corruption and anti-money laundering in the \u201cSpecialist Lawyer Criminal Law\u201d course conducted by the Swiss Bar Association. He is the author of numerous essays and various book chapters on anti-corruption and related subjects.<\/p>\n

As part of university and non-university education and training, he teaches and researches the financial management of companies in various fields of work. His practice focuses on national and international accounting (IFRS, US-GAAP), integrated and sustainability reporting, corporate valuation and corporate governance and compliance.<\/p>\n
